Pao’s stories
It is said that a young lady with a beautiful name Pao, a member originates from
H Mong Community, who is in on her way to look for her mothers. Her name in relation to Pao's story movie which was film in 2006. Since then, the movie set which is owned by Hmong owner, becomes popularly
Pao was born in a poor family in a small village. Unlike her peers, her husband got married to the second woman because the first lady got older and felt unpleasant. This is one of the reasons for him to have a chaotic life. Luckily, the second wife gave birth with Pao and her younger brother. Time passed by; the two children got older but save their emotions to the first mother due to their real mother was able to earn money to support the whole family while she had the little time for her family. The father felt his life seem boring with the first wife as she became not young anymore. Did she feel the same emotions.
One day, the lady left her house to stroll the local market. Because of the local convention, each member goes to this market with purposes, to go shopping, to exchange ideas or meet the ex -lovers or just have a small talk. Finally, Pao – the young girl discovered a surprising secret. Her beloved mother felt happily, kept smiling all the time as she was walking with a strange man.
Pao, the young lady felt that is unstoppable because she knew that her beloved daddy had no more feeling with his first wife.
One day, the first wife left her family to go to a near by stream, put off all her belongings there and disappeared. Villagers explored this case then informed her husband. At once, the husband asked his relatives to seek for the first wife. But nothing left, just clothes, her shoes on the land. They felt like this lady suicided herself. A significant funeral took placed. The community members gave their sympathy to his family.
Time like flying, the man got older and became older. By then, the man felt that he needed both wives because he was old enough that he was not able to take care of himself while Pao turned into a young lady who intended to get married soon.
With a quick decision, Pao was ready to remove her house to look for both mothers. One day, as Pao was in Sapa town, she met her mother in her shop. The mother and young lady cried and cried after years without chit chat. As a result, her real mother gave her a lot of money and appraised for her family. Pao said goodbye to her mother because she got married to another man. Feeling that boring, she left Sapa on a coach. The journey kept going on until the driver dropped his guests into a stopover. Suddenly, Pao kept her eyes on what was happening in front of her. That was her beloved mother (the first wife from her daddy) kept big smile standing nearby the stranger who is her boyfriend’s father. Pao cried a lot but she understood that was the mother’s happiness. She left this stopover without saying anything towards her mother. Finally, she was back home to take care of her father
